Victorian Training Company Commits to a COVID Recovery
23rd November 2020
A Melbourne based Training company confirms their commitment to their business growth strategy and plays their part in Victorian led COVID recovery.
Melbourne based OHS expert of over 15 years, Aaron Monaghan, also the General Manager of the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) WAM Training, said that looking forward is pivotal to the mindset that businesses have to adopt to be included in a COVID recovery.
“At the core of WAM Training’s vision is continuous improvement. We truly believe if you are not getting better, you must be getting worse. This also applies to the 1000’s of trainees who pass through our doors each year. They attend our courses to improve their skills and knowledge to keep them safe on our construction, manufacturing and mining work sites” said Mr Monaghan.
“We understand that our part in Victoria’s recovery is not just about our expansion and job creation plans that come with it. We also need to help other Victorians and Victorian businesses who have had a tough year. So we have also decided to discount all of our courses until March 2021 to provide them a helping hand as well.”
WAM Training will see its capability and capacity double when it relocates to its new purpose built training facility in Laverton North on December 7.
He then expanded further on his comments, “With so much downtime in business this year and many jobs lost, we know that there will be more training that needs to occur. And we want to be there to help businesses and individuals get back on their feet.”
If we are ‘all in this together’, we need to see business grow and succeed as well as business being more compassionate to their customers.
