WAM Training’s mobile confined-space entry and working-at-heights training unit is due to return to Melbourne after spending some time in Queensland.

Dave Padroth, WAM Trainings confined space trainer stated, “To get it back gives back the flexibility to our customers”.

“The Confined space trailers return also provides opportunities to vary training scenarios in our own facility. We now have a purpose built confined space shipping container, a purpose built Confined space vertical access pit and the CSE trailer,” Dave said.

The unit was specially built to deliver WAM’s training services in a safe and controlled environment – onsite at workplaces or off-site where needed.

Featuring three separate compartments, the unit allows for a full range of hands-on rescue and breathing apparatus entry and exit training. The unit was cleverly designed to also simulate rescues at heights and practice working in confined spaces.

Dubbed “Mobile One”, the unit lets WAM Training conduct its range of confined spaces-related courses across the state – without risk. It further maintains WAM Training at the forefront of construction industry training in Victoria.

“We wanted to provide greater flexibility and mobility to our clients – whilst maintaining and delivering a great service to customers,” said WAM’s training manager, Steve Horbec.

“It’s all about meeting industry best practice and giving our customers and staff a safe environment to conduct such training, and greater choices for our clients,” he said.
