WAM Training Welcomes Police Victoria
Early this morning, news outlets published articles on Police Victoria’s covid compliance blitz and a shake-up set to hit Melbourne’s construction industry. So it was no surprise when several police cars arrived at WAM Training at 10:00am today.
Members of Victoria Police requested and reviewed our CovidSafe Plan, Emergency Management Plan and Evacuation Plan prior to using a laser to measure each of our classrooms and common areas to check the accuracy of our room occupancy limits.
The Constables expressed that they were impressed to see that WAM Training had gone above and beyond in our implementation of additional covid-safe measures such as daily temperature checking and having a dedicated Covid Marshall on site during business hours.
Having received a thumbs up from Victoria Police, WAM Training welcomes a heightened police presence to help remind everyone of the importance of covid vigilance.
