The Working Safely at Heights training course is designed to be tailored to your site specific needs.
This is a nationally accredited course from the Resources and Infrastructure Industry Training Package (RII09).
Topics that are available to be covered (but not limited to) in this course are:
Occupational Health and Safety Act, Codes of Practice, Working at Heights and falls regulations
- Dynamics of a fall
- Emergency retrieval systems
- Fall arrest systems, harness, restraints and other equipment
- Checking of harness and other Working at Heights equipment
- Correct fitting and usage of harnesses
- Inspection and planning work – Worksite specific considerations including completion of site specific Job Site Analysis (JSA) as applicable to Working at Heights.
