Elevated Work Platforms
There are two distinct types of training/licencing required to operate elevating work platforms. These are:
WorkSafe High Risk Work Licence – Category WP:
11m and Over Boom Lift, Truck Lift & Trailer Lift
These require a WorkSafe Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Category WP). Please note that this licence does not cover the holder in the operation of scissor lifts or vertical lifts.
EWPAA Yellow Card: (most common Industry training card)
Unrestricted Scissor Lift & Vertical Lift
Under 11m Boom Lift, Truck Lift & Trailer Lift
These require competency-based proof of training, which is attainable through WAM Training via the EWPAA Accredited Yellow Card course
