Electrical Spotters Course
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be registered and licenced with EnergySafe Victoria to work as an ‘Electrical Spotter’ within restricted spotters’ zones (pursuant to all current statutory requirements).
There are a number of pre-requisites for this course:
- Current Level 2 or Senior first Aid Certificate.
- WorkSafe ‘Licence to Perform High Risk Work’ or competency based training required to operate the plant for which the applicant wishes to act as an Electrical Spotter.
- Basic verbal and written English communication skills, sufficient to read and understand permits and instructions are required
- The holders of a Dogging category WorkSafe Licence can spot for both underground and overhead assets when the above requirements are met
